INTRODUCTION

CAPIIBINE 500MG TABLET contains Capecitabine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-cancer medicines. It is used in the treatment of colon, rectal gastric and breast cancer.

CAPIIBINE 500MG TABLET is also used to prevent new occurrence of colon cancer after complete removal of the tumor by surgery.  It may be used either alone or in combination with other medicines.

CAPIIBINE 500MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you have severe liver, kidney disease or had severe reactions to fluoropyrimidine therapy (a group of anticancer medicines such as fluorouracil).

CAPIIBINE 500MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney disease, heart problems, brain disease or nerve damage, diabetes, history of eye problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Her-Tinib Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.HOW HER-TINIB TABLET WORKSHer-Tinib Tablet is an anti-cancer medication. It works against the HER2 (human epidermal growth factor receptor protein) receptors and EGFRs (epidermal growth factor receptor) which are responsible for the over-proliferation of cells. This is how it inhibits the growth of cancerous cells causing downstream signaling pathways.

Capecitabine is indicated:

- for the adjuvant treatment of patients following surgery of stage III (Dukes' stage C) colon cancer (see section 5.1).

- for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (see section 5.1).

- for first-line treatment of advanced gastric cancer in combination with a platinum based regimen (see section 5.1).

- in combination with docetaxel (see section 5.1) for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer after failure of cytotoxic chemotherapy. Previous therapy should have included an anthracycline.

- as monotherapy for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer after failure of taxanes and an anthracycline-containing chemotherapy regimen or for whom further anthracycline therapy is not indicated.

Introduction to Azashine 300mg Tablet

Azashine 300 mg tablet consists of the active ingredient Azacitidine. It is used for treating adults with blood conditions, namely Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, and Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), if they are considered ineligible for stem cell transplant.  

In Myelodysplastic Syndrome, the bone marrow does not produce healthy blood cells due to its lack of function. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is a type of bone marrow cancer caused by the release of incompletely formed blood cells into the bloodstream. Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia is a rare form of blood cancer caused by an increased number of monocytes of the white blood cells.

• Acute Myeloid Leukemia with 20-30% blasts in patients who are not eligible for Haemopoietic stem cell transplant
• High-risk Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)

How to consume Azashine 300mg Tablet

Warnings

Both men and women using azacitidine should use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy. Azacitidine can harm an unborn baby if the mother or father is using this medicine.

You should not be treated with azacitidine injection if you are allergic to mannitol, or if you have advanced liver cancer.

Side Effects

 

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, tiredness, dizziness, muscle/joint pain, or loss of appetite may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION Omalirel Injection is a monoclonal antibody. It is used in the treatment of moderate to severe asthma in both adults and children. It eases the symptoms of asthma such as wheezing, breathlessness, tightness in your chest, and coughing.

Omalirel Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. The first three dose of medicine is given by the doctor. Your doctor will explain to you the best way to inject the medicine so that you can inject your medicine at home. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you even if you feel better.

The most common side effects of this medicine include joint pain, pain (general), fatigue, dizziness, fracture, itching, dermatitis, upper abdominal pain, nasopharyngitis, headache, and ear pain.  If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.  Remember, it does not prevent you from a sudden attack, hence always carry your emergency inhaler with you.

Before taking this medicine if you have liver or kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
